Passive digitizer touch screens support multi touch functionality. This means that you will be able to use many of the multi touch gestures that were popularized by the iPhone and iPod touch. hese include "pinch out to zoom" and "pinch in to shrink" when viewing photographs.
The last thing you may want to consider is the actual touch screen finish. Many people notice that glossy touch screens show more fingerprints than matte finished touch screens. If seeing fingerprints on the touch screen is going to bother you, you should probably choose one that has a matte finish.
