Some people get in a cold sweat at the thought of not having access to the internet and it just highlights the addiction most of us have. I recently went on holiday and couldn’t believe the amount of people that take computers on holiday with them. All though this can be anti-social it does allow us to keep up to date with our own countries news and more importantly football scores and transfer news.

So what should  we do if or more likely when our computer goes wrong or you need your laptop repaired. If you have any confidence in your own computer ability then you can try a home computer repair. This is obviously the cheapest option but also can be most dangerous and time consuming. The next option is to take your PC to a local computer repair shop. The problem with this computer repair service is it normally means you will be without your PC for a couple of days. Let along the security risk of allowing access to your data without you looking over their shoulder.

For this reason I would always recommend you backup your data regularly using a combination of a local hard disk and online backup service.  If you need your computer repaired then get someone to recommend a local computer repair service that offers a service in your home. That way you should get a prompt resolution to your PC problem, you can be sure that your data is secure and you may actually learn something from the computer engineer.
